381 Main Bar & Grill is pleased to announce the next installment of 381 Main Craft Beer Days with our November Winter Beer Fest!!!

This event will take place on Saturday, November 19th 2011, from 1PM till 5PM, and will include craft beer from some of New Jersey’s finest breweries – Boaks (Pompton Lakes), Carton (Atlantic  Highlands), Climax (Roselle Park), Cricket Hill (Fairfield), East Coast (Point Pleasant), Flying Fish (Cherry Hill), Kane (Ocean), NJ Beer Co. (North Bergen), Ramstein (High Point Brewing – Butler), & River Horse (Lambertville).

It’s getting colder! Winter is approaching, and New Jersey’s Brewers always have this beer season covered with some of the most flavorful, bold, full bodied winter lagers, ales, porters and stouts (and some lighter choices as well) that you could ever want. So this Craft Beer Day is dedicated to New Jersey’s tastiest winter offerings. Some of the highlights for the day thus far are beers like Cricket Hill’s Paymaster’s Porter and River Horse’s Belgian Freeze, just to name a couple. We will publish a complete list on Thursday, November 17th.

Here is a small listing of some of the many highlights from our October Craft Beer Day – Boaks “Two Blind Monks”, Carton “077XX”, Climax “Oktoberfest”, Cricket Hill “Nocturne”, East Coast “Beach Haus”, Flying Fish “Oktoberfish”, Kane “After Glow”, NJ Beer Co “1787 Abbey Single”, Ramstein “Double Platinum Blonde” and River Horse “Brewer’s Reserve Dunkelweizen”. There were many other wonderful beers as well, but the list is way too long to continue…

However, I will inform you of one other in particular – Augie Carton of Carton Brewing brought with him a Pumpkin Cream Ale that they had brewed. Not a typical pumpkin, they brewed a cream ale with pumpkin meat, orange oil, pink peppercorns and ginger. As opposed to a “Pumpkin Pie” beer, this was more of a “Pumpkin Soup” beer. If you were there, you know what I’m talking about. If you weren’t, well, suffice to say that the keg kicked in just under 25 minutes. With that being said, just to give you a little something to crave till the 19th – There will be another tasty, seldom if ever sampled, limited Carton beer tapped for our Winter Fest!!!

As always, many of the brewers will be on hand to talk their craft with anyone who wants to listen, and we just know all of you do!!! And if we’re all lucky, we’ll all be bestowed the honor of yet another Rick Reed (Cricket Hill) speech!!!

Of course, representatives from newjerseycraftbeer.com and ratebeer.com will be in attendance to assist you in honing your craft beer skills, and you’ll even be able to become a newjerseycraftbeer.com member, of which we are proud to be a participating establishment!!!

So mark your calendar for this great event, and come out to enjoy some of the finest beers from some of New Jersey’s finest breweries…at 381 Main Craft Beer Days – November Winter Beer Fest!!!
