Beerituality

A friend of the site and fellow #BrewYork member, Jeff Cioletti dropped me a note to let me know that his film, “Beerituality” is now available on-demand.  Here’s the information, I’ve got for you.

The craft beer-centric comedic feature film “Beerituality” is now
available for on-demand rental and download purchase at amazon.com.

Directed by Jeff Cioletti and Lou Tambone from a screenplay written by
Cioletti, “Beerituality is a satire of politics and religious
fundamentalism set against the backdrop of the craft beer world.

Audiences can stream the film for up to seven days for $1.99 or
purchase it outright in downloadable format for $9.99. Amazon video on-
demand is available on most internet-enabled Blu-Ray players, as
well.

Synopsis of “Beerituality”

In the fictional small town of Brewster, few places are as popular
among the locals as the Abbey Normal beer bar—at least until one of
the country’s most infamous anti-alcohol zealots, Reverend Jimmy
Patrick, comes to town.

When the prohibitionist preacher maneuvers his way into the mayor’s
chair, he wastes no time in launching a referendum to ban all
alcohol.

The charismatic holy roller manages to eke out narrow passage of the
referendum, thus putting Abbey Normal out of business.

However, the pub’s owners find a loophole in the local ordinance—a
special allowance for alcohol served during religious services–and
cleverly transform the bar into St. Abbey the Normal, aka The Church
of Beer.

Once the new mayor gets wind of the operation he and the batty beer-
hater Gonzo Gertie make quick work of shutting it down.

But help is on the way from an unlikely team of robed avengers from
across the pond…

“Beerituality” was produced by Cioletti, Tambone and Syndi Szabo
through FAD Productions. The film stars Mimian Morales, Christopher
Padula, Lou Tambone, Mark Szabo and Jessica Steele. It was filmed
throughout New Jersey, including at the popular craft beer bar, The
Shepherd & the Knucklehead in Haledon, N.J.
