Chili for a Cause and homebrew competition, Hoboken

This in from our friend Peter at Simply Beer.

The Hoboken Volunteers annual “Chili for a Cause” cook-off will include for the first time a Homebrew Competition. “Chili for a Cause” is a charity event, with ticket sales will go to charity TBD by Hoboken Volunteers. The event will take place on Sat Feb 25th at the Elks Club in Hoboken NJ and they are expecting to have about 200 people for this event. For the first time the Chili cook-off will also have a Homebrew competition component will both a “People Choice Award” and a “Judges Award”.

I will be there pouring some of my beer, but not participating in the Homebrew Competition, but I will be participating in the Chili Cook-off! I also plan on bring the “Greasy Pig Brown Ale”

So far there are over 5 homebrewers that will be in attendance with their local selections from 2-6PM on Saturday, February 25.   NJCB will be sponsoring the event by giving away prizes including Membership Club Cards.
