Culinary Classic & Harvest beer tasting

Marion from The Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties sent over these two events that are fundraisers for The Foodbank including a beer festival. Here’s what she has to say.

I hope you can help us get the word out about two upcoming events to benefit the FoodBank.

First is the Culinary Classic on Monday, 9/22, which features dozens of shore area eateries. Our newest addition this year is Beach Haus brewery, which is opening a brand new facility in Belmar.

The second event is a beer tasting hosted by our friends at AHEPA on October 18.

On October 18th. The Order of AHEPA Chapter 517 is having a Harvest Beer Tasting. We are proud to say that we will have a great selection of quality hand crafted premium beers to taste.

It’s going to be a fun filled evening for both guys and girls (21 and older). Along with the great tasting beers we are having entertainment and food

23rd Annual Culinary Classic Features the Jersey Shore’s Finest Restaurants

What:             23rd Annual Culinary Classic, featuring the Jersey Shore’s best restaurants, wines, specialty cocktails and craft beers to benefit The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

When:            Monday, September 22, 2014                        5 – 9 p.m.

Where:           Doolan’s Shore Club, 700 State Highway 71, Spring Lake Heights, NJ

SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS  – The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties will hold its 23rd Annual Culinary Classic tasting event on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Doolan’s Shore Club in Spring Lake Heights. Guests will enjoy selections from area restaurants, along with fine wines, craft beers and specialty cocktails. All proceeds will benefit the FoodBank, a nonprofit organization that works to alleviate hunger and build food secure communities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The FoodBank’s Culinary Classic is the original, the biggest and the best tasting event in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The event is sponsored by David and Les Offenberg, NJ Bankers Association, Fulton Bank of New Jersey, Jersey Mike’s Subs, In Memory of Jessica E. Leshay, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, and Wegman’s.
