I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of NJCB today when I visited Gorman’s Liquors in North Cape May, conveniently located coming or going from the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. The first thing you’ll notice about Gorman’s is that they have draft beer. But before you pull up a barstool, it is a growler filling station. And as unique as that is, you’ll find the growlers themselves unique to Gorman’s. With Brewin’ the Bear watching over, you have a choice of four (4) rotating draft beers to fill your growler. NJCB members will receive $1 off the growler fills. Not interested in a growler? No problem, Gorman’s has a selection of over 80 craft beers and if you aren’t sure what to try, try Nick’s Mix-A-Six and make up your own six-pack. It’s a great opportunity to experiment with different beers and styles without committing to any one beer. If you are in the Cape May area, you would do well to avoid the higher priced liquor stores and take a ride to see Wendy and her crew at Gorman’s Liquors in the Bayshore Mall (609) 884-2884. They are enthusiastic about their craft beer selection and they have something for every taste.
