As summer ends and the fall season kicks off, The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern is offering an array of fine culinary and wine/craft beer events in September that are sure to temp palates.  Recognized recently with the 2013 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and the Open Table 2012 Diners Choice Award, the Inn is open seven days a week serving lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch.

On Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30pm the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern kicks off its monthly series of Craft Beer Tasting Events showcasing craft brewing from coast to coast.  Held in the casual setting of the Tavern, the September tasting will feature Troegs Dream Weaver Wit, Harrisburg, PA Breckenridge Autumn Ale, Denver, CO Sly Fox Oktoberfest, Pottstown, PA New Holland Ichabod Pumpkin Ale, Holland, MI.  Passed complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.  The cost is $20.00 per person and reservations are required.  Participants are encouraged to stay and have dinner after the event.

 

 

Highlighting September events at the Inn, Edible Jersey Magazine, in Partnership with Brooklyn Brewery, are hosting their Quarterly Carousal Tasting Event from 5 – 7pm with the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern on Wednesday, September 25th followed by a fabulous four-course Brooklyn Beer Dinner. at 7pm.  Guests can try Booklyn’s latest beer, Cuvee La Boite, pick up the latest issue of Edible Jersey and sample locally made snacks during the tasting portion.  Other featured brews include Brooklyn Pilsner, Brooklyn Oktoberfest, and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout.  The tasting event is free of charge.  The dinner after the tasting is priced at $45.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity.  The menu is as follows:
