Intern- Imperial Sales Specialist (Sales/Marketing Representative)
Imperial, the best-selling Costa Rican import beer brand in the world is looking for highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and energetic individuals to join our team as true brand ambassadors to market and promote the brand across key markets throughout the US. This is an exciting and unique entry level marketing-sales hybrid opportunity for individuals that have interest in getting experience in a dynamic and fast paced industry. The successful candidates will work closely with both the sales and marketing teams. The main purpose of the role is to connect and engage with beer consumers in the on premise channel (bars and restaurants). The individual will have the tools and the support required to creatively market the Imperial brand
The individual will work approximately 30 hours per week from mid-February through December 2014. The vast majority of that time will be spent on the road and in the field. He/she should be a recent college grad in a relevant course of study that is age 21+ and passionate about marketing and the beer industry. Candidates must have clean driving record and background check as well as a negative hair drug test.
•Serve as an Imperial brand ambassador in the marketplace.
•Coordinate and lead the communication and execution of the on-premise event schedule including:Develop relationships with wholesaler sales reps and on-premise bar managers.
◦Preparing the on-premise account in advance of sampling promotions (brand presence).
◦Execute sampling promotions designed and directed by the Imperial Brand Team and local Sales Team.
◦Capture photos and videos of consumers enjoying Imperial. Provide content to the Imperial Brand Team and Social Media team weekly.
◦Summarize success metrics of sampling promotions and send to both Imperial Brand and local Sales teams weekly.
•Adhere to the rules and regulations of the State Liquor Authority, which will be covered in the mandatory training.
•Must adhere to the North American Breweries Responsible Use Policy at all times.
•Responsibly manage spending including being mindful of budget, keeping receipts and submitting regular, accurate expense reports.

•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with North American Breweries Sales Managers and Imperial Brand Team.
•Knowledge and passion for beer.
•Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
•Strong written and verbal communication.
•Familiar with social media like Facebook and Twitter.
•Up to 30 hours per week beginning in Mid-February 2014 through December 2014, working mostly in the late evenings.
•Must be at least 21 years old.
•Valid Driver’s License.
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management.
