Garden State Brewfest is this Saturday!

Just wanted to send a quick update about the Garden State Brewfest.  May 12 from 2-6PM there will be a small beer event in Berkeley Heights.  So far the following breweries will be in attendance.  There will be a homebrew competition among other cool things, PLUS, NJCB will be there talking beer along with you guys.  Steve will be covering the event.  Look out for him taking pictures, selling cards, talking beer and of course,

Triumph Brewery beer dinner at Trap Rock. Tickets are now on sale!

This dinner will take place on Tuesday, October 11th, at 7PM. Preliminary snacks and complimentary beer will be available starting at 6:30PM. The guest brewery will be Triumph Brewery, Princeton, NJ, who created the first purpose-built brewpub in the state in 1995. Trap Rock’s getting an update

Beer-Stained Letter reported this a few days ago, but it looks like Trap Rock in Berkeley Heights has outgrown their space. A 7-barrel fermenter is to scheduled to be installed next month to help the Berkeley Heights brewpub keep up with current demand and give brewer Charlie Schroeder some flexibility with Trap Rock’s seasonal brews.
