I recently got an email from our friends at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn.  Here’s the Oktoberfest info. The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern will kick off Oktoberfest on Monday, September 26 with a special menu and offer an array of Oktoberfest beers to mark the beginning of this traditional Bavarian celebration that began in 1810 when King Ludwig married Princess Therese in Munich, Germany. Gallo’s Oktoberfest

At Gallo’s Wine Cellar in Matawan, their Oktoberfest is happening on Saturday, September 24, starting at 6pm and will include Erdinger Oktoberfest, Dogfish Punkin, Smuttynose Pumpkin, Schlafly Pumpkin, Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin and more. Cost is $10 per person.  Not sure what the fee includes, but I’m assuming samples. Gallo’s is located at 1077 Route 34, Matawan.

Oktoberfest at Black Bear, Hoboken is tonight!

Tonight, September 22, The Oktoberfest Beer Tasting featuring craft beers from Flying Fish, Southampton and Victory with a German buffet. There’s a $10 admission.  Their email doesn’t say anything else in terms of what’s included with the admission cost. Black Bear is located at 205 Washington Street in Hoboken.  It’s on Washington between 2nd and 3rd on the east (water) side of Hoboken.

Oktoberfest at the Pilsener Haus in Hoboken

I just got the info for tomorrow’s (September 9) pre-Octoberfest party at Harp & Bard.  The fall themed beers will be the following. Nip-n-Tuck beer events coming up!

More beer tastings coming up! Each tasting is from 6-8pm and will feature at least 10 beers, along with pretzels and sliders. $40 per person, and PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. September 10 will feature Dogfish Head, October 29 is Oktoberfest and pumpkin beers, and December 17 will feature holiday and winter beers.
