The Palm’s beer dinner

Here’s what I was sent over for a beer dinner at The Palm in Atlantic City.  I’ve quoted the info and beer list.  Victory and Blue Point and a macro/craft beer is listed below.

The Palm Restaurant in Atlantic City, NJ, will be celebrating the best of America’s finest made beers with a special Craft Beer Dinner to be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.

The menu will be as follows:

FIRST COURSE

Beer Battered Chincoteague Fried Oysters over a spicy Thai Slaw

Paired with Blue Point Toasted Lager

SECOND COURSE

Cheddar Cheese Ale Soup in a Mini Bread Bowl

Paired with Victory Headwaters Pale Ale

THIRD COURSE

Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio with Goat Cheese and Arugula Salad

Paired with Shock Top Raspberry

FOURTH COURSE (choice of)

Roasted Duck Breast served over a bed of Wild Mushroom Risotto topped with an Ale Gastrique,

or

9 oz Filet Mignon served over roasted Red Potato Hash with Onion Confit

Paired with Victory Hop Devil Ale I.P.A.

FIFTH COURSE

Southern Sweet Potato Pie with a Pecan Topping

Paired with Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat Ale

The Atlantic City Palm Restaurant is located in The Quarter at Tropicana, 2801 Pacific Avenue.   They are open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
