Shad Festival 2011 is this weekend!

April 30 and May 1 between 12:30-5:30 pm both days – no fee for admission – rain or shine!  River Horse beers will be served (pay as you go).  More details are below. Beer at the Big House is tomorrow!

Presented by High Street Grill, there’s a beer fest at the prison museum on Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 5PM. Food & music and of course beer. VIP ticket includes special “beer wars” lunch with the brewers (11:30 – 1 pm) $35 in advance at High Street Grill, $40 on Paypal and $55 vip ticket on sale only at the grill. Iron Hill Saizanne is tomorrow!

Iron Hill is releasing a Saison called Saizaane at noon on Saturday April 30. Suzanne will be moving her usual Wednesday night beer club meeting to Saturday at Iron Hill so she and her loyal group of beer followers can stop on in to try it.  Suzanne is a Sly Fox representative, food and beer writer, blogger, and the founder of “In Pursuit of Ale” one of the country’s first women’s beer clubs.  Read more about it here.
