Rio Grande: Halloween Bash is happening at Cape May Brewing Co.
Randi from Cape May Brewing Co. said on Friday, October 26 from 05:00 pm to 09:00 pm
Whether you’ve had your costume picked out, designed, built, stitched, painted, tried-on, altered, and perfected for months or if you’re one of those who will wait until sometime around October 25th to figure out what you’re doing for this year’s costume, at CMBC’s Halloween Bash, we’ve got treats for all your tricks.
We’ll have a Signature Halloween Flight featuring our TWO Halloween One-Offs: Mounds Bar Honey Porter and Lemonhead Always Ready. We’ll also be pouring Mop Water through a pumpkin tap, so, if you’ve missed the pumpkin aspect of our pumpkin-less pumpkin spice beer, now’s your chance! Give all of these brews a try along with our limited-edition, commemorative Halloween glass, available for purchase.
Grab your friends and cut a rug! We’ll have a silent disco running in the spoooOOOoooOoooky Beer Garden. Don’t miss out!
Did someone say costume contest?!? Vie for our best couple’s costume award, or you can come on your own and try to win a CMBC swag bag! We’ll also be naming the best CMBC-themed costume — they’re always our favorites! Our fans have such ingenuity in coming up with these; we can’t wait to see what you come up with this year!
On top of all this, we’ll have not one, but TWO special limited can releases. First up is Maize Haze — a corn-based brew designed by our cellarmen. Locally-sourced blue corn and premium 6-Row Barley from our friends over at Rabbit Hill make up the heart of this easy-drinking lager. They’ve devised a moderately-hopped brew with Citra and noble Saaz leading the way in a clean and crisp lager with enough hop character to make you want to have a few go-rounds. Maize Haze is dry-hopped with a beautiful mash-up of Azacca, Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Blanc, more Citra, and more Saaz, making for an American twist on this uniquely American Lager.
Next up, Not from Concentrate. It’s apple-picking season, and to celebrate we’re bringing a freshly-pressed apple cider beer to the hayride. Sweet, slightly tart, and applicious, Not from Concentrate is the perfect pairing for whatever your autumn adventures might be — particularly CMBC’s Halloween Bash.
AND if you’re in a CMBC- or craft beer-themed costume, you’ll get $4 pints all night long! Remember: CMBC swag does not make a CMBC costume.
The fun lasts until 9pm — we’re staying open an hour later for all your Halloween fun! See you then!
