Job Description
Four City Brewing Company is a locally owned and operated craft brewery in Orange, NJ. We have part-time positions available for our taproom opening in August 2019.
We seek to provide a singular guest experience via expertly crafted beers, special events, enthusiasm, and superbly attentive service. If you consider yourself a fan of craft beer and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
-Must have knowledge of beer styles and local/national craft beer brewery market
-Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability
-Positive attitude
-Passion for craft beer, community, and locally supported business
-Excellent customer service skills
-Works well in a team setting
-Ability to stay focused in a dynamic work environment
-21 or over
-Flexibility to learn and grow with the company
-Physical lift up to 50 lbs alone, or more with help
-Minimum 1 year service industry preferred
-Cicerone Certified Beer Server or ability to obtain once hired is a plus
Duties Include:
-Educate guests about craft beer and our brewery
-Opening and closing facility to a high standard of cleanliness
-Checking proper identification of guests
-Guiding guests to find the best beer for their taste
-Pour beer and growlers
-Service/stock retail merchandise
-Maintain overall cleanliness of bathrooms, retail, bar and table areas
-Moving case boxes, 6-packs, and kegs
-Setting up and breaking down event equipment and supplies
