Wet Ticket Brewing is a rapidly growing production brewery located in downtown Rahway N.J. We brew a diverse portfolio of Ales & Lagers on our 10 BBL brewhouse, and can our beer in-house. We have a laid back, but conscientious culture that rewards hard work and the ability to smile.
We are looking for a hardworking motivated individual to join our team to assist in all aspects of brewery operations including: Brewing, packaging, cleaning and delivery help. Brewing and or packaging/cellaring experience is preferred, but for the right person, with the right aptitude, we will train.
Compensation is highly competitive based on experience and your ability to contribute and grow with our company. Health insurance is available.
Responsibilities:
Perform and or assist in all brewery processes including: wort production, cellar work, dry hopping, packaging, cleaning, yeast management and deliveries
Maintaining a safe, organized and clean working environment while adhering to all safety and procedural standards
Maintaining/recording inventory and efficiently managing cold storage space
Reports to and will work closely with ownership and existing staff
Daily monitoring of all fermentation/brite vessels
Qualifications:
Self-starter and ability to work efficiently without supervision
Flexibility and ability to adapt on the fly
Enthusiasm for your role and the creation of exceptional craft beer
Ability to contribute passion, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook
Willingness to commit to all safety procedures and SOPs including the use of PPE
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work space
Self motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills
Mechanical aptitude
Use of a ladder
Ability to operate individually and as part of a team
Work in hot/cold environments that may require bending and lifting
Ability to frequently lift and or move objects weighing up to 55 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 160 lbs
.A clean driving record
