March 29 is the date for Uno’s next cask fest and the first for head brewer, Zac Conner. Here are the details that Zac sent over so far and we’ll be updating this article as more arrive.

Why:
We are looking to celebrate the passion and camaraderie of the ever-growing New Jersey Craft Beer scene. This is an opportunity to spend time tasting great beer and meeting enthusiastic craft beer people like yourself.
Details:
We will be featuring cask beers from all over NJ as well as releasing some special tap beers made just for this event here at UNO!
All day, we will be serving appetizers at 1/2 price and selling house growlers to go (64oz) for $8.
Beer will be sold in a pay-as-you-go fashion, with 8oz pours for $3 and 16oz pours for $5.50
This will be the first time I’ve held a cask festival here at UNO since taking over as head brewer, and I’m hoping to get as many returning craft beer enthusiast as well as new ones as possible in the building that day. We will be serving a number of cask-conditioned ales from all over New Jersey, as well as serving a few specially crafted “one-off” kegs on draft made here at UNO (stay tuned on the event pages for the announcement of the formal list and these special beers!)
One thing I can tell you is that we will be releasing our next seasonal beer that day… CRANBERRY DOPPELBOCK. This baby will ring in just over 7% abv. Lagered for 2 months, this beer was brewed with munich, melanoidin, and chocolate malts and aged on over 40lbs of cranberries! I am exciting and anxious to serve this beer, and I think the cask festival will be the perfect setting.
As always, NJCB members will be receiving 10% off of their entire bill!
