We visited the Windrift in Avalon on Friday and were impressed to say the least. The Windrift has a dining room serving full meals as well as a more casual bar, an outdoor deck bar and is attached to a motel with a gorgeous pool, hot tub and umbrellas in the water. The inside bar has numerous draft beers and if you like cold beer (who doesn’t?) you will appreciate the tap covered in ice. The beer coming out of the tap is ice cold and the selection is extensive. It is obvious the Windrift staff appreciates good beer. On tap was Harpoon IPA, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Yuengling, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and a beer from Flying Fish. The Windrift offers you many selections for your dining, and drinking, pleasure and offers something for every taste and every mood. Stop in and enjoy a, literally, ice cold beer.
