Rinn Duin & NJCB Beer Madness

Toms River: We’re going to have some fun and a party at Rinn Duin and pick a few things to play with and of course sample.

Here’s the information.

NJCB Beer Madness is a March Madness-inspired event where Rinn Duin Brewing beer one-offs (chosen by both NJCB Members and Team NJCB) compete head-to-head in three rounds of sampling. The day of the event, participants will purchase a special token which equates to 14, 2 oz. beer samples for the three rounds of competition. Participants will be given a bracket and tickets to cast their vote for each match up. Bartenders will mark each participant’s bracket when they sample a match up, to avoid duplicate pours.

NJCB Beer Madness lets you, the beer drinker, choose the Rinn Duin one-offs that will compete head-to-head in three rounds of sampling. Vote for your favorite one-off for each of four beers. Voting ended Friday, December 18. Scroll down for more information on what comes next.

Event Details

Time

• The event will begin at 2:00 sharp
• NJCB Members should arrive no later than 1:45 to check in
• General public who wants to sign up for an NJCB membership & participate should arrive by 1:30

Participants & Tix

• 50 tickets max are being offered
• Tickets are $15 and will be sold online & at the door (if tickets remain)
  • Tickets include 3 rounds of beer samples, voting rights, and inclusion in 3 raffles
• Must be an NJCB Member to get your vote counted but can participate even if you are not.
  • Memberships will be available at the event from Team NJCB.
• Upon check in, participants will receive a wristband, 3 raffle tickets, and voting ballot

Raffles

Four raffles will take place throughout the day

• One at the end of each round (all participants)
  • Prizes to be determined
• One Grand Finale raffle (only participants who voted for the winning beer)
  • NJCB 2016 Membership for a friend or family member
  • NJCB & Rinn Duin t-shirts
  • Growler of the winning beer!
