The Amanti Vino Oktoberfest is going to be held at the Wellmont Theatre in downtown Montclair on Friday, October 21, 2011.
Breweries that have committed so far include: Brooklyn Brewery, Stone Brewing Company, Yards Brewing, Unibroue, Ommegang, Lagunitas Brewing Company and NJ Beer Co. In addition, some of our distributors (Hunterdon, Nash, Allied and Kohler) will join us and provide copious quantities of premium suds, including Weyerbacher and New Holland (just confirmed). We are actively looking to sign up more breweries, so stay tuned for updates!
We will be feasting on a roast pig, bratwurst and vegetarian options provided by David Ellis Events.
Music by Kiwi, a local (Jersey City), roots-music band that is on the cusp of something great . They can be described as a beautiful blend of roots, soul, reggae and funk. A nine piece band complete with a distinct rythym section, horns and gorgeous, soulful harmonies. Think Bob Marley and Etta James deciding to start a hybrid band.
Oktoberfest is once again a benefit for Intensive Therapeutics, which provides Occupational Therapy for children.
