Who says NJ doesn’t have great BBQ & awesome Beer? The Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown is New Jersey’s first festival, featuring only New Jersey Beer, coupled with restaurants, gourmet food trucks & Chefs, offering a delectable array of mouth watering BBQ & Bacon creations, all available for purchase. There will be a competition to showcase their culinary skills, with a panel of celebrity judges choosing the best of the best, along with People’s Choice awards for Best Dish & Best Beer. 14 New Jersey Breweries will be in attendance, each bringing 4 styles of Beer. One of these styles, will be either a rare Beer or a Brew created specifically for this event. The event will take place outdoors and under tents, with some fantastic Music! This is destined to become a New Jersey Fall classic.
VIP includes entry 1 hour earlier, VIP Gift, appetizer Samplings, meet & greet with the Chefs, Brewmasters & Pitmasters, and first access to the rare and specialty beer, each brewery is creating for this event, plus a Mason jar mug, unlimited samples of beer, great music & People’s Choice Ballot for best beer & best dish sponsored by New Jersey Craft Beer.

- Jam”Beer”laya with Bacon, Tasso Ham, Smoked Chicken and Andouille
- Maple cured Bacon, roasted Pumpkin and Pecan Bread Pudding with Pumpkin Ale spiked Cinnamon Bacon Vanilla Sauce.
Confirmed breweries include Bolero Snort, Tuckahoe, Magnify, Angry Erik, Ramstein, Flying Fish, Carton, Beach Haus, Gaslight, Forgotten Boardwalk and Cricket Hill. We will be updating more as they unfold.

Why are the non-drinking (i.e. designated drivers) always charged so much and get nothing? No water, no discount or free sandwich (for example). Seems people should be rewarded for being responsible.

You are charging way to much for this. 40 pp would be better. Especially since it’s the first one and not many breweries are listed here. What were you thinking? 25 for DD. So I can follow people around and listen to music . Looks like there might not be a 2nd annual NJ BEER fest. Good luck
