Today our friends at the homebrew club, BWO are having their summer session featuring Michael Kane who owns Kane Brewing, the new startup brewery in Ocean Township. The BWO will be sampling beers and chatting at The Ale House from 3PM. Here’s what they have to say and FYI, I maybe stopping by at 3PM.
Our second meeting will take place at The Ale House Tap and Tavern in Sayreville, NJ on Saturday July 9th at 3pm. We will spend time sampling our very own home brews, eating some delectable desserts (made with beer of course!), and getting some Q&A time with a couple of guest speakers. While it would be great to have everyone present for the second meeting, we know that it’s tough to find a weekend that works for everybody – especially in the summer. Any member that has brewed a beer recently is asked to bring about 6 bottles, accompanied with a recipe/ingredients sheet for each of their respective beers – as we’ll hold our second competition and crown the top beer of the summer. If you are lucky enough to have two or more brews ready, feel free to bring them all! We will also hold an open discussion for upcoming events, ideas, and what everyone would like to see this club evolve into going forward. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
Check the Ale House out on Facebook, Twitter and online or visit in person at 1899 Route 35 South in Sayerville.
