Randolph: Come to Fort Nonsense and try Café du NONde on Friday, April 8.
During the NJCB x High Rail collaboration beer release, the Beerventurers suggested we figure out a way to do something together and get an official beer collab going. Fast Forward a few weeks, I was talking about an NJCB x Fort Nonsense collab, then fast forward a few months, I see Andrew from Fort Nonsense and his wife Emily drinking coffee at the Lone Eagle brew session for the Big Brew collab. Yeah, so many moving parts. Anyway, I ask Andrew his favorite coffee style and turns out we like the same kind of coffee. Then, I find out that Andrew & Melissa are visiting New Orleans and their first stop is get some NOLA coffee. Andrew (FN) never had NOLA coffee, but I have and I love it. A beer was born.
Café du NONde is a roasty, chicory, slightly creamy 8% cold brew coffee porter. The coffee blend comes from Toca Coffee.
Come visit Fort Nonsense and try the beer on April 8 starting at 5PM. Not only will I (Mike) be there Gene from Team NJCB, Melissa and Andrew from BV but Andrew, Emily and the Fort Nonsense crew too. Ohhhh, also, live music from another NJCB Member, Jon Zayle. Ask him to play some Whitney or Weezer or Warrant. Trust me.
