It’s back for 2012! Look out for Jon and Os from Team NJCB hanging around town. Here are some details! According to our friend Remo at The Pourhouse
On Saturday, June 2nd, Haddon Township is throwing the 3rd Annual Haddon Pubfest, a craft beer themed pub crawl involving 8 local bars to kick off Philly Beer Week. Each bar will feature a craft brewery (or, in the Pour House’s case, 2 breweries) that has taken over the taps.
Goose Island Brewery (Chicago) & Stone Brewing Company (San Diego) will be our two featured breweries. Each brewery will have 6 different beers on tap that day. [list is below]
The event runs from 12PM-6PM and anyone wearing a Haddon Pubfest t-shirt gets a unique special at each participating bar. The shirts are going to be made available as soon as I send this message out. They are $10. The special at the Pour House that day will be $4 drafts of Goose Island & Stone Brewing from 12 to 6PM.
Goose Island beers are Sofie, Matilda, Summertime Kolsch, IPA, Nut Brown Ale, 312 Urban Wheat
Stone Brewing beers include Smoked Porter, RIS, IPA, Levitation, Vertical Epic 11.11.11 and one more to be determined.
Meanwhile, over at Keg and Kitchen, our buddy Tim, sent over this info.
We will have Great Lakes tap takeover. 4 taps, our standard Commodor Perry IPA, plus Lake Erie Monster double IPA, Holy Moses wit, and the Wright Pils.
Our giveaway, I want you to promote as the best give away during pubfest – cause it is: GRAND PRIZE: airfare to Cleveland, hotel accommodations, dinner, Cleveland Indian tickets, and a private brewery tour.
People are entered by buying a pub fest t-shirt and can gain extra entrees by spending over $20 on any subsequent visit before the 2nd.
The Irish Mile is going to feature our favorite Weyerbacher rep, Natalie and her beers! Verboten will be on cask and MORE!
