The Harvest Moon Brewery/Cafe will be hosting their annual Jimmy D’s charity event on Sunday, January 16th to honor the late former New Brunswick deputy fire chief James D’Heron and help support the Connecticut Burns Foundation Children’s Burn Camp, a charity that was very dear to his heart. There will be a live DJ all day, a 50/50 raffle and other fun events. For more information call 732.249.6666 or visit harvestmoonbrewery.com. In late January will see several new beer styles grace Harvest Moon taps, including a black IPA and a weizenbock.
Harvest Moon is one the first Brewpubs in New Jersey that I visited back in 1998ish (don’t tell them since I wasn’t 21 yet). It’s located in New Brunswick at 392 George Street.
