The Burlington Hops & Rocks began in 2019 as a fundraiser for the Colonial Burlington Foundation and has expanded it’s charitable reach to include other community and social non-profit organizations supporting the greater Burlington area. We have since contributed $20,000 to local groups including Colonial Burlington Foundation, The Opportunity League, Burlington City Garden Club, Burlington Youth Fishing Association, Friends of Burlington Library and the Food Bank of South Jersey.
Our 2024 event will again begin with the Hops & Rocks 5k run sponsored by Burlington Running Club. Held on the banks of the Delaware River overlooking Burlington Island and Bristol PA, the festival will include beer tastings from over 20 breweries from New Jersey and surrounding states , food vendors and music by The Shakey Lyman Trio and Shelter In Place. The brewery area is fully tented for protection from the weather, providing a comfortable attendee experience.
