Last Wave/Wild Air sales rep

Last Wave Brewing Co. is looking for a sales representative for the Jersey Shore area. We’re searching for a self-motivated, passionate individual who wants to represent Last Wave and Wild Air Beerworks to grow our business and increase sales among current accounts across Monmouth and Ocean County while managing our distributors across the state and in Eastern PA.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with accounts with regular check-ups either via phone or in-person. This includes setting up follow-up meetings and beer samplings as requested.
Coordinate with our distributors to provide them with available brands, schedule pickups and assistance to their sales staff in the form of ride-alongs and in-store tastings.
Maintain relationships with current retailers in order to provide ongoing education and updates on Last Wave/Wild Air products while increasing sales with existing accounts.
Conduct inventory accounts to maintain accurate inventory of all brands.
Ability to work with brewers to understand which brands should be promoted to accounts to help maintain even flow of all products.
Research and develop potential accounts within our target market.
Work to create and promote events to help increase sales and awareness of our brand. Must be willing to attend events on weekends/nights to represent Last Wave/Wild Air.
Assist with payment collections.
Coordinate deliver driver schedule based on demand.
Help our delivery driver help deliver sixtels, half BBL kegs and cases during peak times.
Provide weekly updates on sales and new business development goals with management
Comply with all NJ laws and statutes

Skills/Requirements

2-4 years of sales/brewery experience required
Solid understanding of brewing process as well as differentiation in styles of craft beer
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Experience using sales tracking software
Must be friendly, outgoing, and have excellent communication skills, in-person and via digital communication channels. You’re expected to represent Last Wave, which means being open, honest, and inviting when dealing with accounts and customers at events.
Ability to load, unload, and deliver kegs weighing upwards of 160 lbs.
Must be able to keep track of, and document, all sales through invoices and sales tracking software.
Ability to multitask, take initiative in business development, and maintain regular sales and delivery schedules with direction from management.
