Montville: September Meeting – Club Only Competition: Brown British Beer is happening at Poor Henry’s Pub & Restaurant

September’s meeting will be MASH’s third and final Club Only Competition of 2019 featuring BJCP Category 13, Brown British Beer. MASH members can bring 6-12oz, 3-22oz or a growler of your beer to be entered in the competition. Everyone present will be able to judge in this mini-best of show style judging.
BJCP Category 13 styles include:
13A – Dark Mild
13B – British Brown Ale
13C – English PorterThe 2019 membership drive is still in full swing. This year dues will be $30 or $25 if you are a member of the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). Dues can be paid in cash at the meeting or sent ahead of time using PayPal to mashnewjersey@gmail.com. Be sure to select the “friends and family” payment option.
Don’t forget that MASH members are welcome to drop off beer to be anonymously evaluated by one of our very own BJCP judges. Simply register at onlinebeerscores.com and bring your numbered bottle.
As always, meetings are open to all. Feel free to arrive early for dinner or even eat during the meeting. Poor Henry’s has some of the best craft beer offerings in the area! Bring homebrew to share and a sample glass to help cut down on cup waste.
