As many of you know, in the last few months, we have been tapping some special brewery-only beer releases. These limited releases allow us to play with different styles, ingredients, techniques, yeast strains, etc. (all things we did not have the luxury of doing with our capacity constraints). The several one-off beers that we have tested so far have been met with nothing but positive feedback from our many customers and supporters. Due to this growing interest, we will be starting up an entire series of brewery-only special releases so that we can continue to bring new and interesting beers to our consumers. We will be calling this series our “Small Culture Series”. As a team of such dedicated and passionate brewers, this series will allow us to showcase the art and science that we have grown to love in the beer making process, as well as the wonderful final products that can be achieved when these two things marry. These beers will typically be brewed at a very small scale (1 or 2 sixtels worth; or 5-10 gallons). Due to this, we will not be filling growlers of any of our Small Culture Series beers, but they will be available to try in a tasting, by the pint, or in a twelve ounce pour. We will be tapping our first release in this series this Friday (8/29) at 5 pm. Small Culture Batch 001 is a Belgian Blonde ale aged on fresh New Jersey peaches from the Fenton Farm in Egg Harbor City, NJ. SCB001 is an easy drinking summer beer with a mild Belgian ester profile that is rounded and balanced with delicate ripe peaches up front. Our one-off releases typically do not last very long, so make sure you get down to the brewery Friday 5-8 pm or Saturday 12-6 pm and try this first Small Culture Series release while it lasts!
