Stoke Harvest at Last Wave

Point Pleasant: Our friends from Last Wave are expanding! They just added new cans to their lineup. Here’s what Bert from the brewery told us along with the graphic attached. They are having a can release party at the brewery Saturday, October 27. The tl;dr is below followed by more details.

We want to celebrate that magical time of year at the Jersey Shore that is 🍂 Fall 🍂. Lots of things get harvested this time of year—pumpkins, hops, and even new flannels. We’d like to harvest some pure, 100% organic, Garden State stoke together with our wonderful coastal community. In that spirit, we’re announcing our first ever CAN RELEASE on Saturday, October 27th at 2pm in our tasting room.

 

Can Release

A-Frame Hazy IPA and our Red Sky Red Ale will both be available in 4-packs of 16 oz cans starting at 2pm on Saturday October 27. That’s not all though. We want to start off this special day right, so the first 50 customers to come in and pick up some cans will get a free 2018 Last Wave koozie with their purchase!

 

Shacked Red Rye IPA

On top of two different beers available in cans, we’re bringing back one of our most popular beers from last year—Shacked Red Rye IPA. This big, bad beer brings some serious flavor with notes of caramel and spice from the crystal and rye malts used to lay the foundation of this intense hop-forward red ale. Shacked brings on an intense wave of hop flavor and bitterness from ludicrous amounts of Chinook and Cascade added during the boil, and even more added in the dry hop. If you like old school, hoppy beers with a balanced malt profile, then you’ll want to come give our Shacked Red Rye IPA a taste.

 

Local Love

We love our little town and part of harvesting stoke is getting help from your friends. So starting on October 27, and continuing through the holidays, we’ll be offering a dollar off one pint or flight of beers if you bring in a receipt from another Point Beach store, restaurant, or shop from that same day. There are so many cool things to do in town, we want to encourage our beer drinking friends to experience some of them.
