Test Dept.™ brewer Logan Smith (Logan 5) is asking you to grab your clipboards, put on your lab coats…and your flannel shirts!
Inspired by the Fall Season he came up with a double taproom-only release for this Friday.
Carrot Cake Amber Ale
ABV: 6.2%
Amber Ale based on an American dessert favorite. Made with lactose, roasted carrots, raw carrot juice, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla during that balance out remarkably well.
So good you’ll want a second slice! Logan 5 guarantees it! (very limited)Red Flannel Amber Ale
ABV: 6%
Logan Smith (Logan 5) says it’s time to break out the flannel shirts! It’s Fall! This American Amber/Red ale shares the same base as his Carrot Cake Amber Ale, made with lactose, roasted carrot, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla but he kept out the carrot juice. In this way the ginger and spices are highlighted in the beer. It’s great to try this beer side by side with his Carrot Cake Amber Ale. (very limited)
