Westfield: On Friday, November 17 starting at 4PM, Lions Roar is releasing their brand new West Coast IPA called The Brew Devils. Eric McGowan started brewing at Lions Roar after relocating to NJ where he previously brewed in VA at Aslin. Lions Roar and Eric took on the challenge of making a West Coast IPA in their 3BBL brewhouse with something that pays homage to Westfield and their local mascot, The Blue Devil. Maddie Bowen, General Manager and Events Coordinator, called upon the community to help decide on a Westfield-oriented name, and loves how this one also incorporates her love for the New Jersey Devils.
The Brew Devils is a 6.6% all Citra hopped West Coast IPA.
It will be available in flights, individual pours, and to-go in made-to-order crowlers.
The release party of the beer is set for Friday, November 17. There will be live music from Duck-n-Cover starting at 630PM. Free giveaways for NJCB Members and an overall great array of beers and seltzers to drink.
During the release event itself, the 2024 Memberships will be printing non-stop but Team NJCB will be at the event to answer any questions, hang out, try some beers, give you free swag and give you a glance into what the 2024 Memberships will look like. Doors open at 4PM. Come out!
Best parking for Lions Roar is at 360 Watterson Street in Westfield.
