This Thursday is the Coast to Coast Toast. Here’s what is going on in NJ according to Hunterdon’s website.
The 2nd Annual Coast to Coast Toast is taking place on Thursday, November 15th. Don’t miss out on this fantastic one day event celebrating the passion and commitment behind Vanberg & DeWulf Belgian Beer Importers. For the last 30 years they have worked tirelessly to make the best brews from the far corners of the Belgium countryside available to us thirsty beer drinkers here in the states. Chances are if you’ve enjoyed a delicious Belgian beer lately, it’s because of Don and Wendy, founders of V&D. Come on out, raise a glass and show your appreciation for all they’ve done. If you would like to sign your store, bar or restaurant up to participate in this event, please visit the official website!
From the V&D newsletter:
On November 15, 2012 (King’s Day in Belgium), the best specialty beer-centric bars, restaurants, and stores across the nation will be raising a glass to celebrate Vanberg & DeWulf’s birthday and the great state of craft and specialty beer culture in the US of A. On this day the most progressive, idiosyncratic, and wonderful retailers and publicans join hands, and we salute them (i.e. you!).
Last year, the 1st annual Coast to Coast Toast became the single largest one day celebration of Belgian beer culture in the United States in this millennium (good thing the millenium is young). We’re committed to making this year’s party even bigger. We’re ready to party – are you?
If you are interested in joining the illustrious coterie of Coast to Coast Toast Hosts, please sign up on our Eventbrite page so that the general public knows you’re in and we can send you regular updates between now and mid-November to help you organize, promote, and receive credit for the amazing work you are doing.
Want even more info? Check out the Coast to Coast Toast Toolkit, which contains The Official Vanberg & DeWulf Coast to Coast Toast Beer List and the Vanberg & DeWulf Distributor List.
Why should you join? No beer party since the Guinness Toast receives more media attention. People who attend your events have the chance to win free trips to Belgium. Your participation in the event is prominently featured on our website and on our social media networks throughout the year. Increasingly, beer lovers consult our Coast to Coast Toast Host list to decide where to go.
