Brewers & Drinkers needed for May 3 Street Fair according to this recent email.
There’s going to be a great Street Fair at the Grove St Plaza on Saturday, May 3. The event will feature a chili cook-off, music, and of course, JCBC beers. We’ll be serving beers as a group, and serving flights to visitors. This will not be a contest, we’ll be helping each other out and switching off during the event.
We’d like more brewers to contribute beer and hang out with us at the event. If you haven’t signed up, please do so now, and if you already signed up, make sure to add your beer info to the signup sheet.
Brewers will be compensated for the time and cost of ingredients in your brew – an even better reason to donate beer! The event organizers will provide jockey boxes, ice, and all that for us. Just bring your beer (kegs are preferable, but bottles are OK too).
If you’re not a brewer, please come visit and try some delicious beers.

JCBC Summer Walking Tour
We’ve been planning a walking tour for this summer, where we visit homebrewers in Jersey City and Hoboken to check out their brewing rigs and sample their goods. We are running into some scheduling problems so the date is still up in the air, but it will probably be in midsummer. These tours are always a great time, and there’s always lots of great beer to try, so keep your ears open for more news coming soon.
