Join Montclair Brewery and Jamaica Organization of NJ- Essex County chapter for our 5th Annual Jamaica Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, August 19th! Celebrate with island-inspired drinks, exciting live music, and some of the finest Caribbean food around.
Be sure to try our limited island-inspired flights! We have a varied selection of craft beers and hard seltzers with ingredients and flavors that will transport you to the Caribbean! With drinks such as our Golden Buddha, Connor Hill Stout, Hava Guava, Island Riddem, and non-alcoholic options such as our Jamaican Sorrel or our craft Pineapple Ginger Beer, the possibilities are endless.
Fresh Jamaican food will be available to all provided by Montclair’s own Caribbean Grill. Complement our drinks with a tasty jerk chicken, rice and peas, curry, or red snapper. Food will be available all day, from 12pm-10pm.
We’re proud to have the fantastic Mesha Steele performing with the well-established Platinum One Band! With their expertise in Reggae, they’re sure to get the crowd moving. Calypso and Soca will also be played.*
Caribbean games such as cards, dominoes, Ludi, cornhole, and others will be out for your enjoyment. We encourage you to wear the colors of the Jamaican flag! You may see yourself featured on one of Montclair Brewery’s social channels, if you’re lucky.
Come out & raise a toast to Jamaica, Montclair Brewery Style–Yeah Mon!
*There will be a $10 cover charge per person during the band’s performance from 7pm-9:30pm.
