Join us for an evening of artistry celebrating the unique and handmade at Perkins Center for the Arts, Collingswood on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 from 7-10pm. The award winning tasting will feature over a dozen regional craft micro brews, a distillery, a gourmet food cart fare, handmade beer steins, live music and a silent auction. By popular demand, the 6th Annual Handcrafted at Perkins Center will once again feature a VIP Tasting at 6pm hosted by Joe Sixpack, beer reporter for the Philadelphia Daily News. This intimate tasting offers limited space and will showcase small New Jersey Breweries only featured from 6-7pm.
Handcrafted at Perkins Center is named two time Best Foodie Event in South Jersey by SoJo Happening 2015 and 2014, and the 2014 Best Way to Buy Art by SJ Magazine.
The main event will feature brews from a selection of regional craft breweries including Beach Haus Brewery, Crabbie’s Ginger Beer, Dock Street Brewing, Double Nickel Brewing Company, Flying Fish Brewing Co., Troegs Independent Brewing, Tuckahoe Brewing Co., D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., Weyerbacher Brewing Co. and many more. We will also be welcoming local mead from the Colony Meadery, South Jersey rum from Cooper River Distillers and small-batch coffee from Harvest Roastery. Featured VIP breweries include Devil’s Creek Brewery, Lunacy Brewing Company, Pinewood Brewing Company and Spellbound Brewing. Set your taste buds racing as you pair delicious beverages with some of the best gourmet food around including the savory and sweet of Girardi’s Kabobs, Sift Bakeshop, Gourmet Popcorn Creations and returning after popular demand Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse.
While relishing in the savory and sweet enjoy local musical talents of John Cook and the Jericho Horns, a South Jersey based ensemble performing original Jazz and Soul influenced Rock and Roll, crafted to lift your heart and move your feet. Their music is self-described as reminiscent of classic artists such as Otis Redding, Sam Cook, Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Carole King, Chicago and Motown.
