According to our friends at Kane Brewing
Saturday June 1st from 12-5pm at Kane Brewing Co is “A Wolf Among the Seas” our exploration and celebration of hops. To date, we have brewed *9* different single hop IPAs utilizing both old favorites and some new varietals we’ve found interesting.
We’ve made single-hop IPAs with:
Citra®
Simcoe®
Amarillo®
Legacy
Columbus
New Zealand Nelson Sauvin
Bravo
Mosaic™
New Zealand Pacific Hallertau
In addition to these “educational” single hop brews, we’ll have double dry hopped versions of Head High and Overhead, and some pilots of what could be hop-focused future releases (a pale ale and a triple IPA to name a few). It’s worth noting that all beers on the list are subject to change, pending final tasting and approval by the Kane Brewing staff!
The format will be similar to “Celebration of the Stout” which we hosted back in March. We have 12 taps, and when one beer kicks it’ll be replaced by something else. No tickets are required, just show up during normal tasting room hours (12-5pm) on June 1st, pay as you go like a normal tasting room visit, and enjoy!
Check out Kane Brewing Company on Facebook and the Kane Brewing Company blog/site as well. Kane’s Brewery and Tasting Room is at 1750 Bloomsbury Ave, Ocean. Off Route 35 behind the Wegman’s shopping center. Tons of parking and very easy to find!
