Aberdeen: Alternate Ending Beer Co. Announces Partnership with Talula’s of Asbury Park.
Alternate Ending Beer Co., a destination brewpub located in a former movie theater, announces its long-term partnership with Talula’s, an Asbury Park eatery known for hand-crafted sourdough pizza and fresh baked goods. Talula’s will be running the Alt. End. kitchen, staying true to their style but focusing on quality pub grub like sourdough pretzels, wings, tacos, sourdough SQUARE pies and fun theater snacks.
Alternate Ending founder and owner Scott Novick looked for a kitchen partner who was like-minded about fermentation and aligned with the culture and values of the Alt. End. vision. Husband and wife team Steve and Shanti Mignona founded Talula’s to create a place where their community could gather around great food for warmth, comfort and sustenance. Steve and Shanti bring the expertise required to operate the Alt. End. kitchen, allowing Scott to primarily focus on what he does best: brewing exceptional beer.
“When I was first introduced to Steve and Shanti, I already knew their food was fantastic,” says Scott Novick. “But as I spent more time with them on a personal level, I knew this partnership would be built not only on the quality of their food, but even more so on the quality of their character. They are great to their staff and their community, and they will bring that important mentality to Aberdeen, which will truly enhance the overall experience of Alternate Ending.”
Alternate Ending Beer Co. is a friendly gathering space for people to drink a delicious beer, have an incredible meal, and watch a classic movie on our 200” screen inside our movie theater room. All of our signature craft beer is brewed on location with a state-of-the-art brewhouse, and our specialty beers include Juicy IPA, traditional lagers, oatmeal stouts, and delicate mixed cultures.
Scott Novick founded Alternate Ending in the fall of 2018. He began home brewing in his NJ backyard about six years prior. He left corporate America to get a job washing kegs at Other Half Brewing Company in Brooklyn. He was quickly promoted to the brewing staff at Other Half and worked there until the opportunity to open Alternate Ending presented itself. He worked tirelessly through the COVID pandemic and surrounded himself with a strong team to make Alternate Ending Beer Co. what it is today.
