The guys at Atlantic City Country Club sent over the following tasting menu for an upcoming basement beer dinner on August 22.
A Taste of Americas Pastime Beer Tasting. A five course sampling of the Best American Cuisine from Americas Famed Ball parks and putting our A.C.C.C twist on them!!

For the basbeball pairings, we see “Opening Pitch” paired with 1787 Abbey Single Ale, “The Switch Hitter” paired with Hudson Pale Ale, “Bases Loaded” paired with our summer seasonal LBIPA, “The Double Play” paired with 1787 Abbey Single Ale, and finally Garden State Stout paired with “Homerun”. The Abbey will be a nice compliment to Opening Pitch. It is crisp and refreshing and will really go well with the salad and goat cheese. Hudson Pale Ale is an American Pale Ale, so it is hoppy, but not to the point of ruining the palette. The “Switch Hitter” spicy shrimp taco is a great pairing for this beer – definitely a perfect summer day with these two. For the “Bases Loaded”, we offer the LBIPA. It is a small batch summer seasonal, and the first IPA we have made. The fragrant hops will be a great compliment to the bbq brisket. For the “Double Play”, we bring back the Abbey Single and showcase its versatility, by pairing it with proteins and spicy mustard/chili after trying it with a vegetarian course. And for the “Homerun”, we break out Garden State Stout. Brewed with Belgian chocolate and raisins and using a variety of malts, this beer has big flavor. This is a dark beer that the casual beer drinker can enjoy.
