I just wanted to writeup a quick note to let you know how the beer dinners at Maloney’s in Matawan work. They work smoothly and are a fun and educational experience. My wife and I went to the Allagash dinner. Hunterdon Rep, Pete Martin, was there to explain each beer while the waiter/waitress told us about each dish. There were laughs, claps, drinks a plenty and an all around good time at the community tables.
I’m writing to tell you that the food was great, the beer was great and the company was great too. The restaurant was very accommodating for all walks of food life. Vegetarians, non-seafood eaters, wine drinkers (my wife) and I’m sure more. Overall, it was great and everyone had an enjoyable time. I wish more dinners were on Friday nights.
