Big Brew Beer Festival Winter 2014

The Big Brew Beer Festival is coming back this winter. February 15. Allison, who organizes the festival says the following.

Our February event has even more beer. We will probably have about 250 styles when the list is complete. There will be 24-30 VIP beers in a separate VIP area.

After the jump we’ll be posting the beer list as it comes in. We also have a discount code for all 2013 and 2014 NJCB Members. This code validates based off your email on our system so be sure to use the same one. Use the code NJCB to get your $10 off tickets!! Plus, that’s not all, NJCB Members who visit our friends from The Cow and The Curd, one of the vendors and food trucks, will get 3 complimentary sauces with purchase of curds!

Team NJCB will be there! We’ll have our table setup with NJCB Memberships, shirts, hats, glasses and more available! Come say hi and we’ll be doing a group picture at 4PM and 10PM for NJCB Members! Should be awesome!

  1. Pros – great beers and venue. Vendors and security were fine. Good food.

Cons- VIP is a waste of $$$. Staff at entrance were nasty & gave out regular bands to VIP members. Upon entering I found out why…the VIP menu was a tiny buffet only available for the 1st hour (contrary to advertisements) which many missed due to the snow storm. I heard there were very long lines due to the # of VIP tickets sold compared to the tiny food section (not in VIP area) which held maybe (8) empty warming trays center floor?! This is not what was advertised!

Also, staff stopped serving beers 15 o 20 minutes before event was over, also not as advertised.

Conclusion: I’m asking for my $35 back for the VIP premium on (3) tickets, would go again if received. Otherwise I’ll stick to the meadowlands beerfest.

  2. Good Morning
I’m John Scott owner of the House of Tobacco & HotAsh Cigar company. I’m looking for a few more events for 2014 to set up my mobile cigar bar and lounge. I’m presently schedule for 26 events this year and have a large following with over 10k guest on my social media and email list. Our cigar lounge is always a huge hit with the craft beer Fans. Please let me know if your interested in having us join in the festivities.

Thank you and have a great day
