I’ve been to Big Ed’s BBQ in the Old Bridge / Matawan border a few times recently. I went for the BBQ but the beer selection is pretty good too. I was impressed that it wasn’t the typical macros, but some locals and season drafts. There is Flying Fish, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams and more. Of course you won’t find that published ANYWHERE. Their site doesn’t say anything about beer except that the B word is back on tap. They don’t follow anyone on Twitter either but you can try to ask them questions that way, but it seems to be a one way street. Anyway, the brisket is amazing and the house bbq sauce is wonderful. The garlic bread roll muffin sized things are great too. As I’m writing this I want to go back again. I also love the old beer memorabilia and signage all around the restaurant.
