Boulevard Brewing Company is coming to NJ

new to new jersey

We were send this information from Boulevard earlier and the week.

In the coming weeks, craft beer fans will start to see Boulevard beers line shelves and hit taps in Northern New Jersey and throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. It is the first time since May of 2013 that the brewery has added to its distribution territory, bringing the number of states Boulevard is available in to 27 (plus the District of Columbia). The brewery has signed agreements with Peerless Beverage Company in Union, New Jersey and Muller, Inc., in Philadelphia.

“We are very excited to be expanding our reach to more markets in the Northeast,” said Steve Mills, the brewery’s vice president of sales. “This area contains some of the most savvy craft beer enthusiasts in the country, and we’re looking forward to introducing them to a few Midwest favorites, including Tank 7 and 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer.”

Several year-round beers will be available beginning in early September: Unfiltered Wheat Beer, the brewery’s most popular ale, Pop-Up I.P.A., 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer and Single-Wide I.P.A. along with Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale and Double-Wide I.P.A. from the Smokestack Series. Additional seasonals and limited releases will be added to the markets in the coming months.

So I asked about expansion outside of Peerless territory and into the Central and Southern parts. Here’s what the VP of Sales, Steve Mills, said

…right now we’re focused on launching just the northern portion of the state. We are always assessing what markets make sense for us to consider for future expansion, so the rest of the state is certainly no exception to that.
