Schools back in session. So to easy the pain of the unofficial summer ending. Saturday we will be tapping 4 interesting beers from Brix City.
1. Island Jams // 8% abv // Piña Colada style DIPA DDH with Citra+Mosaic, brewed with Lactose, and conditioned on an insane amount Pineapple, Coconut, and Vanilla. // Notes of piña colada, rich coconut cream pie, and sweet tropical fruit smoothie.
2. Acoustic Jams // 8% abv // NE style DIPA DDH with Citra powder+Mosaic+El Dorado //
This beer was brewed with Flaked Oats+Wheat and dry hopped similarly to Heady Jams. We kept the IBUs low to bring out every bit of the hops used. Notes of bright melon, papaya, mango, and citrus.
3. Williams Kellerbier // 5.5% abv // Keller-style lager. //
Dry and bright with notes of cracker, honey, and orange pith. //
4. Triple Swirlpool (Coconut, Pineapple, Orange)// 8%// DIPA
Triple Swirlpool is a milkshake version of our popular Triple Whirlpool NE DIPA. We took that base beer, added lactose, and conditioned it on coconut, vanilla, pineapple puree, and orange puree. Next we double dry hopped it with heaps of Citra & Simcoe to push the citrus and tropical flavors even further. Enjoy the notes of sweet coconut, sweet orange creamsicle and pineapple juice coupled with a super creamy body!
