The Hand Crafted Tasting Company is proud to announce its inaugural Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival featuring Summer Craft & Specialty beers at 5 North 11th street in Williamburg, Brooklyn, one block from Brooklyn Brewery on Saturday, June 16th, 2012.

Just like their winter/spring tasting at the NYC Craft Beer Festival, Hand Crafted will offer two sessions, 12:30 PM-4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM-9:30 PM.  There will be at least 150 high quality, American Summer Craft and International Specialty Beers from 75 breweries.   Delicious snacks and food offerings will come from a variety of gourmet & specialty food purveyors like Sheep Station, Brooklyn Star, Cornelius, and Morris Grilled Cheese.  Live bands will also perform.

“Between the outdoors, Williamsburg waterfront location, seasonal Summer craft beers, live music, and great food, we think The Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival will be a beer tasting, block party people won’t want to miss.” said Robert Howell, Producer for Hand Crafted Tasting Co.

During the event, leading Craft Beer experts will host intimate, 50-person, first-come, first serve, seminars, and many brewery representatives will be available at the taps to educate the guests about their liquid offerings.

VIP and Connoisseur ticket holders will have an improved, express entrance line to the Waterfront and can enter an hour earlier and have access to the beer, the brewers and the food during this first hour. This is a great time to speak with some of your favorite brewer representatives and avoid what is expected to be a capacity audience later in the day.

Finally, a very limited number of Connoisseur tickets are available for purchase.  The Connoisseur package offers access to the Connoisseurs Lounge for the entire session, and an additional selection of rarer beers not offered underneath the main tent.   Relax either indoors on our couches or on the outdoor Connoisseur patio overlooking the East River and the Williamsburg Bridge. The Connoisseurs Lounge is a great, relaxing place to get away from the throng at the Waterfronts Tented Outdoor Brewers area.

“Just like the NYC Craft Beer Festival we produced in March, we plan to fill the Connoisseur Lounge with some very unusual, rare beers.  The patio overlooking the water is amazing, and we think it will be a memorable place to enjoy this special tasting,” says Jim Pickett, Founder Gotham Artisanal and Brewery consultant.

Hand-Crafted Tasting Company is the Food & Beverage division of Mad Dog Presents,
