Carton Tap Takeover at Capital Craft East Hanover

East Hanover, NJ: Carton Tap Takeover is happening at Capital Craft East Hanover

Erika from Capital Craft East Hanover said on Tuesday, September 24 from 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm

Meet the guys from Carton Brewing, who will be bringing some of the finest Carton taps to East Hanover on Tuesday, September 24. Grab some free swag and try the following beers:

Festy ($3 during happy hour!) Festbier
Under the festival tents there are the Oktoberfest Marzens made “in honor of the fest” and the Festbiers made “for drinking at the fest”. A floor-malted German-pils malt bill picks up a Festbier touch of autumnal richness through the addition of light Munich and Victory. Then hop spiciness comes in the form of Tettnanger and Strisselspalt for both the kettle and late-hop additions. Drink Festy because these days a commitment to tradition is as far off the path’s trend as can be.

SS 2019 (Anniversary Edition IPA)
Carton’s 8th year comes with a grander tweak of their Boat Beer. Water and Kolsch yeast, over a generous wheat-addition, creates the modern doubles that remember a quintessential New Jersey truth. Beauty is because of, not in spite of, things like a little bit of acidity, a little bitterness, a little saltiness and a little tension. SS 2019 asserts that perspective, this time adding Zythos and Ekuanot to layer notes of pineapple and lime on Boat’s bitter citrus hop bill. Drink SS 2019 because you don’t turn 8 every year.

BLOSSOM (Mixed ferment blended ale)
1 PART mixed ferment saison:
French Saison primary fermentaion in stainless, Brettanomyces claussenii secondary fermentation with orange zest

12 PARTS mixed ferment spelt saison:
French Saison primary fermentaion in stainless, secondary fermentation in oak foeder with wild yeast from Locust, NJ

12 PARTS cold fermented NJ wild:
Jersey grown pale & corn mash cold fermented with wild yeast from Locust, NJ

PAVLOVA (American Cream Ale)
Coffee & Pavlova is a continuation of the Regular Coffee game. Our golden imperial coffee cream ale has been finished with strawberries and kiwi. Much like Regular Coffee looks to evoke an amusing version of the acidic bitter coffee curbed by milk and sugar that starts a day in a paper cup, Coffee & Pavlova imagines a creamy cup of coffee drunk with light, crisp and fruity confection, outside the theater on a tour to the summer-side of the world during our winter. Drink Coffee & Pavlova, and knock your slippers off.

077XX (IPA)
Like all things truly Jersey, 077XX makes the most in balancing through its accentuation of extremes. Inspired by the west coast IPAs we love, we added a thump of hops to a dynamic malt profile and chose a yeast to drive these two further than they wanted to go. Throw our water into this mix and you will find dank green resinous hops popping over orange, mango and papaya aromas, with just enough sweetness of body to make the long finish a pleasure to have around. Drink 0’Dub when your night matters.
