We’re at it again – brainstorming new and unique casks to excite you at our Annual Cask Festival! We’ll be tapping over 20 specialty casks – some traditional favorites, like Oatmeal Milk Stout with mint and vanilla, and Special Ale with chocolate and chillies.. but also SO MANY NEW creations that we’ve never tried before! Tripel Horse with blackberries? IPA with coriander and orange zest? Special Ale with winter spices? BRING IT ON!
NEW CONTEST THIS YEAR: We want YOUR cask ideas!
Ticketholders submit your new cask idea for a chance to win a $30 River Horse gift card and the honor of tapping your creation yourself at the festival! (Also the opportunity to name it, though we reserve the right to veto offensive or vulgar names). Our brewing staff will review all submissions and pick their favorite! Choose from the following beers as a base: IPA, Hippotizing IPA, Tripel Horse, Special Ale, and Chocolate Porter. Limit 2 submissions per ticket, and submissions must come from the same email address used to purchase the ticket. Submit to: contest@riverhorse.com Deadline is 12/31/17 – Purchase your tickets early and send your submission asap for your chance to win!Our brewers will be on site to discuss how they create different cask beers, and which styles are the most conducive to aging. Live music and entertainment will be provided by Revolving Door Band!
Also, here’s your chance to influence our next unique cask! Throughout the evening, submissions will be accepted for new cask ideas. The winner will have their cask created and featured in the tasting room, along with a $30 River Horse gift card, and the opportunity to be the one to tap their cask creation!
Tickets are $20 and are only available online through Eventbrite.com. With your ticket you will receive a 5oz. sampler glass and 3 beer tokens. Each cask sample requires a beer token, or you can get a pint for 3. Additional tokens may be purchased for $2 each or 3 for $5.

*Tickets are non-refundable, and you must bring proof of purchase to the event. Either hard or digital copies are accepted. We are not offering designated driver tickets due to limited capacity.

For parking, you are welcome to use the River Horse lot but it fills up quickly. Other options include Graphics Drive and our friends at Riegel Printing allow the use of their lot across the street.
