Artist Carolyn Jones from Sleepy Cat Jewelry will be joining us for our latest Craft & Beer Event!
Carolyn is a local treasure, her studio right here in our great town of Medford! She crafts her jewelry using metal, wire, and semiprecious stones. She’s inspired by the beauty of nature, plants, animals – the sky, and oceans! Each piece is meticulously created with attention to detail and care representing hours of work. Shaping wire into the right form, hammering it for durability & beauty, wrapping coils with precision and care. She values the importance of handcrafting her own components & charms which increase the uniqueness of each piece as opposed to using machine made components which would diminish the uniqueness of her final products. The results of her work are beautifully crafted artisan designs that withstand everyday wear and can be treasured for years to come! This also makes each one of her pieces individually different, one of a kind, and totally unique!
