CIRCLE LIQUOR STORE AND TONY MART PRESENT THE 4TH ANNUAL ROCKTOBERFEST, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2018
The 4th Annual Rocktoberfest is a traditional German beer, craft beer and wine festival, with German and American Festival Foods and a tremendous array of beers and wines presented by Circle Liquor Store for tasting and enjoyment.
The free festival includes a free concert and free parking. This year Circle Liquor and Tony Mart Present the Hawkins Road Allstar Band with special guests, Jill West, Pittsburg’s Queen of the Blues, and “Big Bob” Ernano, popular area vocalist from Northbound Train and the Brandon Ireland Band.
There will be an extensive array of Oktoberfest, seasonal and limited autumn craft beers and terrific selection of wine from Circle Liquor’s wine master, Chester Malloy. A tasting flight of 3 ample portions of beer or wine will be only $6 and there will be a special tasting of select wines hosted by Carmen Marotta for only $10. Food includes Angry Pig pulled pork and chicken BBQ, Angry Pig’s famous savory beans, homemade German Weinkraut, red cabbage, warm soft pretzels and other German specialties including Italian sausage, knockwurst, bratwurst and smoked turkey sausages served on famous Formica Brothers Bakery bread. Jersey Fresh Zucchini with Rigatoni Pasta will be a vegan favorite; and German Desserts Chocolate Cherry Black Forest Cake and Apple Strudel will be served.
The food is served and the beer and wine begin to flow at 5pm with Hawkins Road performing the first of two shows at 7pm. The very inexpensive Elks Lodge Bar will be available all evening and the special 6 wine tasting is at 6:15pm at the 4th Annual Rocktoberfest . . . always a great time at the EHT Elks, 1815 Mays Landing Road.
