We’re two buddies from South Jersey that are fully devoted to quality craft beer brewed with patience, brewed with love, and brewed with our local community in mind. Our styles of beer incorporate the old (European styles) with the new (American ingredients). The majority of our beers are sessionable, meaning lower in alcohol content, adhering to classic styles. We feature rotating taps in our tasting room, providing a different experience for every visit. Eight & Sand provides the local community with seasonals, one-offs and special releases only available at our brewery.
We at Eight & Sand have made a commitment to our community and ourselves to build a more sustainable brewery. Though small, we’ve opted to use environmentally friendly steam rather than direct fire burners to heat our 10 barrel brewhouse. We’re using high-efficiency cleaning devices and a system that can recover and reuse our cleaning and sanitizing solutions. This will save about 16,000 therms of natural gas and 170,000 gallons of water over the next five years. In addition, we plan to install a 26 kW solar panel array, which will generate about 35,000 kWh of clean electricity every year. Over the life of our solar array we will eliminate more than 700 tons of carbon dioxide which is equivalent to planting over 17,000 trees! Our sustainability plan also includes sending our spent grain to local farmers instead of the landfill.

5.2%An American Pale ale with Bravo and Simcoe hops. Hints of orange and tropical fruit.

5%A crisp clean Munich style lager. Perfect for any weather
HEFEWEIZEN
4.3%A traditional unfiltered Bavarian ale with a creamy mouth feel with banana and clove finish.
FLYNN’S IRIS RED ALE
Irish Red
6%Flynn’s Irish Red (6%) is brewed with Maris Otter, a blend of crystal malts and a touch of roast. This perfect early spring beer offers aromas of toasted malt and caramel, and finishes with a slight dryness from the roasted malt. The sweet malt character is balanced by just enough Kent Golding hops to keep you coming back for more!
ALL EMERALDS
Double IPA
8%We’ve finally nailed down a Double IPA recipe, and it only took a year and a half! Meet All Emeralds. Loaded with Nugget, Simcoe and Cascade this smooth Double IPA is fruity, resiny and balanced by a big dose of wheat malt, it will have you seeing green signals all the way down the track.
Le BELGE
Belgian Blonde
6%Le Belge, our Belgian blonde ale coming in at 6% ABV. With a slightly fruity sweetness that plays nicely against the classic spice coming from Belgian yeast, this beer will definitely refresh you on these nice warm Spring days.

Dry Hopped Kettle Sour w/ Buddha Hand Fruit
5.5%To celebrate International Women’s Day, our female staff brewed 10bbls of this hoppy kettle sour and added Buddha hand fruit to compliment the citrus and herbal notes of a special YCH Hops blend created by the Pink Boots Society
DRY IRISH STOUT
5.5%A highly traditional Irish stout in every way except the taste. It has a harmonious balance between the slight bitterness from the hops and roasted barley, and the caramel and coffee notes from the malts
STEEL & SNOW
BARREL AGED BELGIAN TRIPLE
10.5%Our bourbon barrel aged triple is brewed with Belgian malt, saaz hops and abbey yeast to create a spicy, bold ale with a dry balanced finish. We then age it in bourbon barrels to infuse notes of vanilla and oak. The combination yields a dangerously smooth Belgian style tripel that will warm you up through the long winter nights.
