Lakewood: For the Story Can Release + Memorial Stair Climb Benefit is happening at Icarus Brewing

On Saturday, April 20th we will be releasing a brand new version of For the Story, Double Dry Hopped with Styrian Dragon this time around, alongside a brand new can design for a great cause. A portion of proceeds from all can and draft sales on this day will go toward the 5th Annual New York City Memorial Stair Climb’s fundraising efforts which benefits firefighters, police officers, EMT’s, and military personnel affected by 9/11.
As many of you may already know, Icarus has a number of employees both on the production side and in the taproom who volunteer their time as firefighters so a few of our own will be taking to 3 World Trade Center and climbing 80 floors in honor of the first responders who died on 9/11 and fellow first responders who have since died from 9/11-related illnesses.
We’ll have live music from Northbound Train taking the stage at 6:30pm and our friends from Chef Driven Culinary Craft will have their food truck parked outside all day with food available for purchase.
