An exclusive place for military persons who enjoy craft beer is the Harborview Club located on the US Coast Guard base in Cape May. Not only does it have a great view of the canal and outdoor seating but it also boasts a full array of beers. On tap was Sam Adams Boston Lager, Sam Adams Seasonal (Summer), a wheat beer exclusive to the coast guard called Guardian Ale (Rumor has it The Guardian Ale is made by Sam Adams. I believe it is actually their Cherry Wheat beer but packaged and labeled Guardian Ale for the Coast Guard), Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Yuengling, Victory Golden Monkey and Edmund Fitzgerald from Great Lakes Brewery, a dark American Porter. So if you can get military base approval it is well worth a stop.
The Coast Guard bar doesn’t really advertise and are a unique entity for military only so they don’t have a website that we can find.
